Manager of a food establishment:
This course is for individuals who will be responsible for hygiene and sanitation matters according to the MAPAQ (Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food). Generally, at least one person must have completed this course for each permit application. The person taking the course may be the business owner or their designated representative.
Food handler:
This course is aimed at food industry workers such as cooks, attendants who handle food in all kinds of businesses such as cafeterias, lunch counters in shopping centers, food factory employees... The cases are numerous, we can mention people who handle food for short moments or for a long day or ready-to-eat food, hot or cold, or those foods that are in their raw state (such as unpeeled vegetables - note that we exclude the agricultural sector).

3h30 training in Hygiene and Food safety

This course is for people who work in a childcare service affiliated with a coordinating office for 9 children or less, in an intermediate or family-type facility for 4 to 9 people inclusive, or in an organization that carries out small-scale, one-off food preparation activities for 30 consecutive days or less.
